It’s hard to believe that October has already come and gone! This month, we are celebrating a number of incredible events including the Pie Party @ Home and Super Strength for Super Kids! We’re also pleased to announce the 2022 Dream Maker Auction, and are sharing Angeline’s Dream Come True! We are looking forward to bringing back our signature event, the Dream Maker Auction, presented by Gauthier Automotive Group, on Friday, April 29th, 2022!
While COVID-19 restrictions will dictate whether the event is held virtually or in-person; we can guarantee that the event will provide an incredible evening of delightful entertainment, amazing prizes – all in support of making dreams come true!

Angeline’s Nintendo Dream
Right now, Dream Kid Angeline is being treated for Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She really wanted something that could help pass the time during her appointments - specifically a Nintendo Switch!
Because of your generosity, Angeline received a Dream gift basket full of games, gift cards, and of course, a Nintendo Switch!
She couldn't wait to start gaming right away! Thank you so much for helping make Angeline’s dream a reality!
2021 Pie Party @ Home A Delicious Success!
Our 3rd Annual Pie Party was on Saturday, Oct. 16th and over 60 Cookie Pie Kits were picked-up or delivered throughout Winnipeg this year. Families also enjoyed at-home entertainment including magic tricks, crafts, and stories.
Thank you to everyone who purchased a pie this year! Because of you, over $8,000 was raised to help ensure even more dreams will come true for kids in Manitoba battling life-threatening illnesses! We also appreciate everyone who chose to donate a pie to a Dream Family this year - over 27 pies were gifted to Dream Kids!

Brandon Shows Their Super Strength For Super Kids!
On Sunday, Oct. 17th the first ever Super Strength for Super Kids event showcased participants’ remarkable feats of strength throughout various events! We are thrilled to share over $6,000 was raised in support of Dream Kid Wynter's Dream! We are so grateful for everyone who worked so hard to make this event successful. Wynter even participated in the hammer hold and showed us all how strong Dream Kids truly are!

SCCS Students Raise Money To Make Dreams Come True!
Spearheaded by Ms. Carter’s 8th grade class for their Christian Service Day dedication, the students and staff at St. Charles Catholic School dressed up as their ‘Dream Job’ for their ‘Colour Day’ on Wednesday, Oct. 6th. This incredible group raised an amazing $555.85 to help make Dreams come true for sick kids here in Manitoba! Thank you to all staff and students who participated - we are so grateful!
Meet A Dream Maker: Emergent Biosolutions
Over the summer, the wonderful team at Emergent Biosolutions held their annual employee campaign in support of The Dream Factory. This year, the team's efforts supported Dream Kid Marek - a frog enthusiast who is deciding between a grand camping adventure; or maybe a trip to a beautiful beach for his dream.
The Emergent team did an outstanding job with the campaign - raising more than $8,000 for Marek's Dream! They also wanted to make sure that Marek knew they were behind him in his fight! Staff left messages of support for Marek that were turned into a book titled "Messages for Marek" where the messages were delivered by Marek's favourite thing: frogs!
Over the years, Emergent Biosolutions has helped bring countless Dreams to life, raising thousands of dollars for kids in our community fighting difficult battles. They are a valued part of our Dream Community, and we could not be more appreciative for their support! Thank you, Team Emergent!
