November 2022 - Adventurous Dreams, Sporty Dreams, and a Space to Start Dreaming BIG!

October has been a fun month at The Dream Factory! We’ve seen a few exciting Dreams come true, and we also took a trip down memory lane to remember some sports-related Dreams. The Dream Factory also has an incredible partnership coming up with Three Pines Organizing that we can’t wait to tell you all about.

Dreams Come True in October

Dream Kid Sophia’s Dream came true this October! She was dreaming of a camper trailer so that she, her sister, and their parents could climb in and go on road trips, camping trips, and all sorts of adventures. This adventurous Dream Kid and her family have so much to look forward to with all the exciting trips they’ll experience in their new camper trailer!

Also this month, two Dream Kids are taking flight on exciting Dream Trips:

Dream Kid Teddy will be flying to London England with his family to see a Denver Broncos football game at Wimbledon Stadium! We’re so excited for Teddy to cheer on his favourite team.

Dream Kid Sarah will be heading to Hawaii with her sister and a friend to soak in the sun and beaches in the lovely Aloha State.

Sporty Kids with Sporty Dreams

This month we also took a trip down memory lane to reminisce about some of our sports-loving Dream Kids. We looked back on four Dreams: Patrick’s, Delaney’s, Kylan’s, and Ethan’s.

Patrick has the soul of a fisherman - he’ll even go ice fishing in -45 degrees weather! His Dream was a full fishing gear setup, courtesy of The Fishin’ Hole. Delaney loves Winnipeg sports. She had the ultimate sports-Dream experience - a VIP fan experience with the Blue Bombers, the Jets, and the Goldeyes. A young but talented goalie, Kylan’s Dream was to hit the ice with his hockey heroes, Connor Hellebuyck and Laurent Brossoit, as well as the entire Winnipeg Jets team for goalie training! Finally, we looked back on Ethan’s Dream room makeover - complete with an airbrushed mural of his two favourite football teams goin’ at it - the Baltimore Ravens and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Sports are a great way for kids with life-threatening illnesses to let loose and escape the stress of their medical journeys. We are so thankful that our incredible Dream Community could come together and make a Dream come true for these four sports fans!

The Dream Factory x Three Pines Organizing

We usually meet Dream Kids in our office in downtown Winnipeg. This is where Dream Kids start thinking about what their Dream come true might be. For them, our office space is the first step on the road to seeing their Dream Come True.

That’s where Sara Verwymeren, Professional Organizer and owner of Three Pines Organizing, comes into play. Sara’s mission is to reclaim and create spaces that help people achieve their own goals. In teaming up with The Dream Factory, Three Pines Organizing is forging a path for Dreams to go from inception all the way to reality.

“For Dream Kids, trips to the doctors office and hospitals are part of their routines. Those spaces mean scary news, needle pricks, operations, and the like,” Sara says. “We are so excited to create a space that takes them away from all the stress of their medical journey and helps them look forward to their Dream!

In addition to streamlining operations for The Dream Factory, Three Pines Organizing is helping create an environment where sick kids can be carried away to look forward to a Dream come true!

Thank you, Dream Community, for another great month of making Dreams Come True!
